I believe that therapy is an ongoing conversation spread out over a period of time where I, as your therapist, get to know you and try to understand what is creating difficulty in your life. I believe that my job is to help create a nonjudgmental and comforting relationship where we can begin to understand you - together. I genuinely care about those I work with, and I believe this curious and compassionate approach is ultimately what makes therapy worthwhile. By understanding you and your challenges, we can help you take steps to truly improve your life.
I received my Master of Science in Clinical Health Psychology, where the primary focus of study was treating chronic physical health concerns from a psychological perspective, in addition to treating mental health concerns. If you’re struggling with your mental health, physical health, (or both) - I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
Asking for help can be terrifying, and speaking with a stranger about your struggles can be incredibly difficult. I appreciate you for taking this first step. Every person is unique, everybody deserves therapy that is tailored to their individual needs. I hope to discover what it is you need, and to build our relationship together.
