Therapy is a two-way street; it's an opportunity for two individuals to connect and learn from each other, and a chance to see the world through someone else's eyes. I am of the firm belief that both client and therapist can benefit from the genuine connection that is formed from session to session. This can apply no matter your race, orientation, age, or background. My goal is to help you accomplish your own goals, whether that be navigating a situation or relationship that is impacting your day-to-day experiences, or gaining a deeper level of insight into your own thoughts and actions.
I am dually trained and certified as both a Master's-level clinical psychologist and an educational psychologist. My professional training as a school psychologist has honed my work with school-aged children to be an area of specialty, and my clinical experiences have lent me plenty of insight into how to approach the day-to-day challenges that we face as adults. I also have extensive experience with psychological and psycho-educational assessments.
There's never a bad time to take the first steps to improving the happiness and well-being of yourself or your child. Life's hardships and challenges are often easier to overcome when you don't have to do it alone, and I'm here when you're ready.
