After paying for services out of pocket, KPS can provide a superbill to be submitted to your insurance company. 

"Carve-Outs"

Some insurances utilize another company to manage and pay for mental health services. An example would be Beacon Health is a carve-out for some Blue Cross Blue Shield Policies. KPS is not paneled with any carve-outs. 

Private Pay Fees

Fees vary by clinician. Income-based sliding scale available. 

Couples & Marital Therapy

These services are not covered benefits under commercial insurance and must be paid for privately.

KPS does not accept Blue Care Network, Beacon, Medicare, or Medicaid. We do our best to help people navigate the complicated insurance system, however it is ultimately up to the patient to know and understand their own benefits. 

*It is Dr. Kaufman’s personal belief that privatized, corporatized health insurance, as it currently exists, is inherently corrupt. Their primary function is profit for executives and stockholders, not access to care or moral accountability. To keep my business in existence, it is a system I must opt in to, and it is not without great internal conflict I do so.
